Hummingbird Workshop

Description

For the beginning of the new year, I decided to create a beautiful Hummingbird Workshop. Why? The hummingbird is a symbol of joy and healing. So, I thought it would be great to start my first workshops of a year with uplifting vibes of playfulness, enjoyment, and creativity as hummingbirds also represent.

This is a mixed-media workshop. We will start with exploring mark-making and experimenting with different tools, natural materials, and found objects to create some interesting marks. This will be a free and playful exercise before we start working on our masterpiece.

I’ll be guiding you step by step, from beginning to end. You don’t need any art experience to join this workshop. If you do, that’s fabulous. You will have a chance to put your own personal spin on your work. We will work with a variety of different mediums such as inks, acrylics, acrylic pens and markers etc. You will create your work on 12×10 canvas. The work is yours and you will be able to take it home with you at the end of the workshop.

All material is provided. You don’t need to bring anything with you. Just your smile and enthusiasm to get creative
