POWERTEX ART JOURNAL/CANVAS WORKSHOP
Powertex Art Journal/Canvas Workshop is a very creative class that will introduce you to the magic of Powertex. This workshop will open your eyes to the endless opportunities to create. You will learn how to use Powertex, sculp fabric, and reuse, recycle and upcycle different materials to create a beautiful and unique piece of art that you will take home with you. You will be able to select to work on art journals (A5 size) or a canvas.
Powertex is a very versatile product. Once you start using it, you will not want to stop. It’s an environmentally friendly, water-based, non-toxic, and weatherproof hardener. It can be used on all absorbent and natural materials such as textiles, paper cardboard, leather, plush, or fiberglass. With it, you can create or enhance your artwork, statues, paintings, jewellery, furniture, etc.
I am a certified Powertex Tutor and I am very passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills with all creative souls. This workshop will take place in my home-based Bright Arts Studio. There is a space for a maximum of 5 students at a time.
Where: Ilford, IG14SF
When: Sunday 11th January 2024, 2-5pm. The workshop can easily run a bit over 3 hours. In case you would like to book as a group, you have a chance to select a specific date that suits your needs.
Cost: £45, the price includes all the materials and refreshments. You don't need to bring anything with you apart from a smile and enthusiasm to learn something new.
